She was also named 2024 Christian Contemporary Artist of the Year at the Florida Gospel Music Awards and awarded 2025 Best Performing Artist of the Year by the International Christian Film Festival—recognized as the largest Christian film festival in the world.

Beyond the stage, Melinda lives out her calling in ministry. She serves alongside her husband, Pastor Anthony Drake, and as Worship Director at Vision Church in Sarasota, Florida. Together, they are raising their four beautiful children to passionately follow the Lord.
